We Are Next
Design meets social/content strategy.
I helped Natalie Kim build her site, We Are Next, a career resource for the next generation of advertising and marketing professionals.
I created a fresh visual identity for the site, emails and social, featuring bright vermilion and a gray cardboard texture. I also worked on content strategy and created a framework for content to be easily navigable on the site.

Bright vermilion + gray cardboard texture = Modern look and feel, and also a reference to the creative and vibrant nature of the advertising industry.
We Are Next content was initially only available on email. To extend the lifespan of older content and ensure that all readers (both old and new) can easily access information they need, I proposed that we (1) house all email content on the website, under a blog updated monthly, and (2) assign categories to each piece of content.
Here are the five content categories that were proposed and are now used to label content on the site and on weekly emailers.
